The most economical method of getting to and from Windsor to Heathrow from a time point of view is by a local Windsor taxi. Depending on the number of passengers, a taxi is likely to be cheaper than taking a bus.

Windsor is served by a number of bus routes and frequent services operate from
Heathrow Airport, with buses operating up to every 30 minutes. All buses from
Windsor go to Terminal 5 , linked to the Central Bus Station
( for Terminals 1,2 ,3 & 4 ) by a free shuttle service . The bus station is located
directly above the Underground station at Heathrow Central

The airport is situated off the M4 Motorway (bound towards London).
Exit at Junction 4 B for Terminal 4 & 5.

By train
Windsor & Eton Riverside to Clapham Junction, change and by train to.Gatwick Airport.

Windsor has two train stations, - Windsor Central (sometimes known as Windsor Royal Station) serves London Paddington, Slough and the West Country. Windsor and Eton Riverside operates frequent services to London Waterloo Station with a journey time of around 50 minutes.
By bus
Greenline Buses operate a service from Windsor to London VICTORIA approximately every 2 hours. with a Journey time of around 1 hour
